Goblintown NFTs are unabashedly crude illustrations of goblin-like animals with a culture built around lousy grammar, memes, and potty humor.

Additionally, Goblintown’s triumph is the latest in a line of meme-laden NFTs such as Kevin’s collections and CryptoDickbutts. Furthermore, the team stated that Goblintown buyers must pay at least $15,000 to join the wacky bandwagon.

The floor price on OpenSea has more than doubled from 3.3 ETH on Wednesday to 7.99 ETH at the time of publication.

According to CryptoSlam data, a Goblintown NFT (Goblintown #6485) has already sold for more than $150,000 on the LooksRare NFT marketplace.

Memes, on the other hand, may not be the main driving force here. Wash trading, a type of market manipulation in which investors trade among themselves to raise prices, can boost sales prices and volume on platforms such as LooksRare.
