
Qatar to Host the Middle East’s First Metaverse FIFA Gaming Event
May 31, 2022 Off By Roland GuirdonanQatar is hosting the Middle East’s first metaverse FIFA gaming event, which will let spectators from all over the world watch the world’s best FIFA gamers battle for the EA Sports FIFA 22 Champions Cup.

The competition will take place at the Aspire Ladies Sports Hall in Doha, with 16 participants competing for various prizes. Twelve of the 16 players are top EA Sports FIFA 22 players, while four are from the Middle East and North Africa. The four MENA players who qualified for the online qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete against professionals.
This competition was conducted by the esports platform Ooredoo Nation-Gamers’ Land. The winner will receive $25,000, while the first runner-up will receive $15,000 in prize money. The second runner-up and fourth-best players, on the other hand, will each receive $5,000.
