
Google Looks for a New Leader to Join Its Global Web3 Team
May 25, 2022Google is looking for a candidate to oversee its global Web3 marketing initiatives. This comes after the company formed a Web3 team under Google Cloud on May 6.
The position will be responsible for growing customer demand for Google Cloud’s Web3 projects and increasing awareness of the programs.
According to the announcement, Google Cloud is hiring a ‘Head of Product Marketing’ who will be responsible for increasing awareness of Google Cloud’s Web3 projects and creating customer demand for the relevant solutions.
In an email sent to staff, Vice President of Google Cloud, Amit Zavery, reportedly outlined his ambition to make Google Cloud the primary choice for developers on the Web3.
“While the world is still early in its embrace of Web3, it is a market that is already demonstrating tremendous potential with many customers asking us to increase our support for Web3 and crypto-related technologies.”
Overseeing marketing campaigns, creating annual goals for Web3 and raising awareness across different groups of the Web3 audience are some of the responsibilities of the role.
For instance, only New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Sunnyvale are eligible for the position.
